Kat Diamond

Danny started his musical career as a child on the stages of District Six and became known as the Wonder Boy in the District. He has shared the stage with the likes of Carmen Cavallero, Chubby Checker and Ben E King. He is also an accomplished drummer and has performed several times with Abdullah Ebrahim’s band. He had a role in the musical ONCE ON THIS ISLAND when it was produced in South Africa. Danny performed the role of Kat Diamond in KAT AND THE KINGS when it toured Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Holland for two years and more recently the role of Pang, the tailor in the musical DISTRICT SIX during its 2002/03 run in Cape Town.
