Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson return to Vienna’s English Theatre following the sell-out hits Baskerville and The Sign of the Four. In The Valley of Fear, they embark on their most dangerous murder mystery yet, coming face to face with Holmes’s arch-nemesis, Professor Moriarty. Expect dazzlingly fast set and costume changes as our versatile cast of five performers brings this thrilling adventure to life, spanning from rural England to the stark badlands of Colorado.

The Valley of Fear opens in the English country village of Birlstone, where the dead body of a wealthy American is discovered inside a remote, securely locked mansion. To solve the case, Holmes and Watson must follow a trail of mystifying clues, encountering an array of larger-than-life characters along the way, whilst uncovering the victim’s dark past in the Wild West. Their investigation soon becomes a race against time to track down the murderer before the sinister master criminal Moriarty can wreak his revenge.
