Ken trained at Motley Theatre Design Course, after studying fine art at Oxford University.
He has designed Sherlock Holmes: The Sign of the Four, Pride and Prejudice*(*sort of), Harvey, Murder by Misadventure, Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery, Private Lives, Travels With My Aunt, and Barefoot in the Park for Vienna’s English Theatre, and is delighted to return.
Recent work includes Private Lives, Heritage, and The Last Witch (Pitlochry Festival Theatre), Merrily We Roll Along and Cinderella (Royal Conservatoire of Scotland), Into the Woods (Bristol Old Vic Theatre School), The Beauty Queen of Leenane and Clybourne Park (Rapture Theatre), The Match Box, Grounded, The Effect, and Outlying Islands (Firebrand Theatre).
Designs for UK tours include The 39 Steps, The Ladykillers, Time and the Conways, Mindgame, and Stepping Out.
