His directing credits include: The Rehearsal (Minerva Theatre, Chichester), Peter Grimes (Grange Park Opera), Wizard of Oz (which he also co-adapted, London Palladium), Noises Off (RNT, West End, Broadway), Little Britain Live and Sound of Music (Palladium, Toronto, Tokyo, UK tour), Jason Robert Brown’s 13 (Broadway), The King and I (RAH), Schippel the Plumber (Greenwich), Educating Rita, Passion, Two Pianos Four Hands, Benefactors and Neville’s Island (West End), Wild Oats and Marat/Sade (RNT), Enter the Guardsman (Donmar), Wind in the Willows (Old Vic), and Spend Spend Spend (West End, UK tour).
His many musical scores include: the original productions of Wind in the Willows and Arcadia (RNT), Merry Wives of Windsor (RSC) and films such as Persuasion (BAFTA Award), The Mother and Enduring Love (Ivor Novello Award).
Jeremy wrote the book for: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Palladium, Broadway, tour) and Legrand’s Amour (Broadway). His screenplay about operatic life, First Night, has been filmed.
