Rachel Fletcher-Hudson
Rachel is an actor and puppeteer. Recent theatre credits include Ten Times Table (No.1 tour), Last of the Red Hot Lovers (Theatrical Niche), Joking Apart (Brighton Open Air Theatre), and Shark in the Park (Nonsenseroom). She has performed in several seasons with Sidmouth Rep, in the plays Suddenly at Home, Ding Dong, Breaking the Code, Pack of Lies, and How the Other Half Loves, which she also performed with The Mill at Sonning. She gave her best Doris Day impression in Airswimming (Union Theatre), and combined acting, puppetry, and music in the R&D for The Promise Opera (Handpicked Productions).
Rachel lends her voice and sarcasm to staged radio show Radio Blighty’s Idle Hour, and her skills as a puppetry director to various UK theatre companies.
Further credits include Romeo and Juliet (Young Shakespeare Company), Tröll (Handbendi Brúduleikhús’ Iceland and UK tour), the Research & Development of What the Ladybird Heard (Kenny Wax), and an actor-musician Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Festival Shakespeare Company). Her TV credits include The Crown (Netflix).
Ten years ago she toured Austria with Vienna’s English Theatre’s Virtual Heroes, and is very happy to be returning for Same Time, Next Year!
