Dannie trained at Drama Centre London.
Her theatre credits include: Pride and Prejudice* (*sort of) (UK Tour & Toronto), The Spring Breeze Turns to Rain (Bush Theatre - Rehearsed Reading), The New Musketeers (Trinity Theatre), Love Letters (Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch), Away in a Danger (Lichfield Garrick), and Teechers (Tour). She has recently worked with Emma Rice’s Wise Children company after being selected for their Summer Actor’s Residency.
Screen credits include: Marriage (BBC) and Autopsy: Elizabeth Montgomery (USA Reelz/ITV). Dannie also played the title role in the feature film Mae West: Boxer in a Corset which was selected for Toronto’s Inside Out, Canada’s largest 2SLGBTQ+ film festival.
As a writer, Dannie co-wrote and composed music for The New Musketeers, which was published by Methuen Drama after its run. Her audio drama, Bottled Up, was selected for the INK New Writing Festival, and she performed it on BBC Radio Suffolk. She’s currently working with MAST Propel Associates GASP! Theatre, composing for their new musical comedy, as well as developing her new musical, Eileen, after performing a scratch version at the Lambeth Fringe last year.
