Dominic Brewer
Dominic is a UK based actor and singer, born and raised in Bristol. After studying English and Drama at St. Mary’s University, he trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London. In a twenty-five year career he has appeared in plays and musicals all around the UK, with concert and cabaret appearances at venues including Wilton’s Music Hall, St. John’s Smith Square, Hammersmith Apollo and the Royal Albert Hall, as well as international tours across Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East.
Notable theatre credits include: Henry Higgins in Pygmalion for TNT Theatre; Yestin in Fisherman’s Friends: The Musical on UK and international tour (also original cast recording); ensemble and cover Sweeney in Sweeney Todd at the English Theatre Frankfurt; Sir Henry in The Hound of the Baskervilles at the Barn Theatre, Cirencester; Timon in Disney’s The Lion King on UK tour; Lightoller in Titanic at Southwark Playhouse; Bunthorne in Patience at the Union Theatre, Octavius Caesar in Antony and Cleopatra for Creation Theatre, Oxford; Tom in Tom’s Midnight Garden at Theatre by the Lake, Keswick; Flute in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Nanki-Poo in The Mikado at the Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough; Harold in Harold and Maude for TNT Theatre; Young Buddy in Follies at the Landor Theatre; Richard Rich in A Man For All Seasons, Jem Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird and Justin West in Dolly West’s Kitchen at Pitlochry Festival Theatre; Earl in Whistle Down the Wind in the West End and on UK tour; and The Young Thing in the European premiere of Michael John LaChiusa’s Hello Again at the Bridewell Theatre. He was also part of the multi award-winning company of Twelfth Night and Richard III that transferred from Shakespeare’s Globe to the West End and Broadway.
