James Hornsby

James trained at LAMDA. His theatre credits include: The Narrator in Irish Celtic - Le Chemin des Légendes (Spring 2023, touring France), The Glee Club (Bush Theatre/Duchess Theatre), The Flannelettes (The Kings Head Theatre), Comic Potential (Stephen Joseph Theatre Scarborough/Lyric Shaftesbury Avenue), The Gaul (Hull Truck Theatre), Brassed Off (Birmingham Rep/Liverpool Playhouse), The Tempest (Stafford Shakespeare Festival), A Passionate Woman (Ipswich Wolsey Theatre/ Oldham Coliseum Theatre), One Night in November (Belgrade Theatre, Coventry), Our Country’s Good and The Recruiting Officer (Swan Theatre Worcester), as well as seasons of plays at: Northampton Royal Theatre, Haymarket Theatre Basingstoke, Derby Playhouse and Century Theatre Keswick. For The Hull Truck Theatre Company, under the direction of John Godber, he appeared in Bouncers, Up' n' Under, Perfect Pitch, On a Night Like This, Going Dutch, Gym and Tonic, Fly Me to the Moon and Men of the World.

James has adapted five classic novels and performed them as one-man plays: Oliver Twist, A Christmas Carol, Great Expectations, David Copperfield and Dracula.

His TV and Film credits include: Witless (BBC3), Doctors (BBC1), Silent Witness (BBC1), The Bill (ITV), All About Me (BBC2), Double Take (BBC2), Chelworth (BBC1), The Blake Escape (ITV) and Timetable (Reelscape Films).
