Aimee Straub

Born in Vienna, Aimee is a multi-lingual actress speaking German, English and French fluently. Her journey into the world of performing arts began with her love for music. Thanks to her musician parents, she was drawn and inspired by the melodies and rhythms that filled the home, igniting a passion for art and self-expression.

Aimee enjoys bringing her creative energy to each project she plays a part in. Storytelling and discovering different sides of herself brought her to the stage. She also doesn’t shy away from character acting—au contraire she loves it! Beside her passion for singing, Aimee is also a self-taught seamstress and enjoys Bikram Yoga.

Some of her favorite VETA performances include Electra (Ensemble), The Seagull (Nina), and Twelfth Night (Olivia). Aimee will also be seen in the upcoming Christmas 2024 movie Bach – Eine Weihnachtsgeschichte on ORF and is also pursuing a musical theater project. Aimee is beyond grateful for the journey she has gone through at VETA and is looking forward to stepping into the industry and moving people with her art.
