Anna Hiller

Anna was brought up in Brussels, Geneva, Vienna, and France and is fluent in French, English and German. As a child, Anna was active in theatre, music, and dance, focusing on classical dance. In Vienna, she attended a pre-professional dance program until the age of 15. She was a finalist in ballet competitions in Paris, Grasse and Biarritz and attended dance workshops in California, Paris, and Singapore. She was then accepted into the renowned VM Ballet School in Toulouse, France.

Due to an injury at seventeen, Anna’s dance career was rerouted. She spent some time in Berlin and Burgenland, working as an assistant on theatre productions including the Schlossspiele Kobersdorf before joining VETA’s foundation program, where she fell in love with acting. This led her to audition for the full-time programme.

In the summer of 2023, Anna was cast as Hippolyta/Fairy in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Divadlo Bez zábradlí theater in Prague. In addition to her work at VETA, Anna studies voice with Suzanne Carey and on-camera acting with Brook Hall. She is thrilled to be performing at Vienna’s English Theatre.
