Alan J Mirren

This is Alan’s second production with Vienna’s English Theatre having played Benedick in the 2014 production of Much Ado About Nothing.

Alan was a regular performer with the international touring company TNT, travelling all over Europe, Asia, South America and Australia in their productions of Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet and Taming of the Shrew. Other credits include Giovanni in ‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore (White Bear), Bosola in The Duchess of Malfi (Kings Head), Tom in Round and Round the Garden, Andy in The Star-Spangled Girl and Billy Bishop in Billy Bishop Goes to War (Frinton Summer Theatre), Clifford in Deathtrap (Suffolk Summer Theatre) and the title role of Don Juan (Steam Industry).

In his native Scotland, he has worked on productions of Hamlet, Macbeth, Henry V and Coriolanus (Bard in the Botanics) and has also performed three seasons at Pitlochry Festival Theatre in productions including Chicago, High Society, A Little Night Music, Absurd Person Singular, The Last Witch, Mary Rose, Europe, The Lady in the Van and Quality Street.
