Hans Kudlich began his career as an assistant at the Burgtheater in Vienna but these days he not only designs for theatre and musical theatre but also designs exhibitions and temporary environments.
Since autumn ’05, he’s been Technical Director of the “Volkstheater in den Bezirken” but his work also takes him throughout Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
His designs include: Der Talismann, Freiheit in Krähwinkel and Cabaret in the Volkstheater, various Musicals such as Miss Saigon, Jesus Christ Superstar, Tommy, Grease, etc., the “Romy Gala”, and exhibitions for the Joanneum Graz, Kunsthalle and Centre Pompidoux.
At Vienna’s English Theatre he has designed ten productions, including 84 Charing Cross Road, Corpse!, Bedroom Farce, Gaslight, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Doubt and A Picasso.
