Shannon is delighted to return to Vienna’s English Theatre for this production of Crimes of the Heart. She appeared as Sister James in last season’s European premiere of Doubt, and had the great privilege of performing The Syringa Tree here in 2004. Ms. Koob’s award-winning performance in The Syringa Tree has also been seen in Frankfurt, Germany, and the theatres of St. Louis, Cincinnati, and Red Bank, New Jersey in the United States.
Residing in New York City, Shannon has appeared at theatres across America, including Yale Repertory Theatre, Denver Center Theater Company, Two River Theatre Company, Long Wharf Theater, Shakespeare in Santa Fe, and Lizard Head Theater Company.
New York credits include the world premieres of The Bridge in Scarsdale and Jeff Baron’s What Goes Around. Other highlights include: Dawn in Lobby Hero, Kate in Taming of the Shrew, Millie in Picnic, Perdita in The Winter’s Tale, Miranda in The Tempest, and Cherie in Bus Stop.
On television, Shannon has appeared on Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Law & Order: SVU, The Sopranos and Guiding Light, as well as in a number of commercials. She holds a Master’s of Fine Arts Degree from the National Theater Conservatory in Denver, Colorado.
Shannon is most pleased that she has this opportunity to work with Jonathan Fox and to share the stage for the first time with her favorite guy, Aaron.
