Andrew returned to the UK and acting in 2008, following fifteen years in Brussels, Kampala, and finally Nairobi. He trained at Drama Studio London. 

Recent roles include: Dame Gertie Lush in Beauty & The Beast (Yeovil Octagon), Dr Sparling in Home at Seven (Tabard Theatre/Tour) and Fruity Metcalfe/Baldwin in Wallis (The Other Palace London and Edinburgh). He has played the Dame in Sleeping Beauty, Beauty & The Beast and Dick Whittington (Stafford Gatehouse). 

Other productions include: Absent Friends, The Decorator, and Gaslight (Sheringham Rep), A Christmas Carol (Kings Head Theatre), Charlie & The Chocolate Factory (Brookside Theatre), A Giving Mood (Pleasance London), Brontë (Barn Theatre), The Digger’s Daughter (European Arts), Chronicles of Light (Winchester Cathedral), Making Good (Orange Tree), The Screwtape Letters (RSC Swan Theatre/UK tour), Art, Breakfast with Mugabe, and George…Please Don’t Do That (Bridge Theatre), Between You & Me (National Theatre Uganda), and several other touring productions.

His TV and film credits include: Emmerdale, the award-winning The Last King of Scotland, Stepping Stone, and short films So Close So Far and Unreliable Witness.

Radio and audio productions include: Oliver Twist (Focus Radio), The French Fugitive, The Courage of Nikolai, and Kelly Nash (Lamplighter Theatre), Titus, Bridge to the Wounded Heart, In Freedom’s Cause, and Under Drake’s Flag (Heirloom Audio), All Roads Lead to France and animations The Ghost Moo and Therapy Fox (11Comics).

Many years ago, Andrew played the lead in a commercial for Volksbank here in Austria! Other adverts include AXA PPP, Morrisons, OBI (Germany), Halfords, Churchill Insurance, Maryland Cookies and TFL Underground. Andrew is delighted to be performing, for the first time, at Vienna’s English Theatre.
