Scott Hoatson
Scott is an actor and voice artist from Edinburgh, Scotland, where he trained at Queen Margaret University.
Recent theatre credits include Henry V and The Tempest (Shakespeare’s Rose Theatre), Out of This World (DTP), The Chooky Brae and The Wall (Borderline), The Man Who Followed His Legs (Wee Stories), Romeo and Juliet (Charioteer / Piccolo Teatro di Milano), After Mary Rose (Magnetic North), The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (Royal Lyceum), and Recovery Position (National Theatre of Scotland).
Scott is a regular performer in the international hit Potted Potter, touring across the US, Canada, Asia and Australia including a Headliner residency in Las Vegas, where the show was named Best New Show in the Best of Las Vegas Awards.
His screen and radio work includes Outlander (Amazon/Starz), Bluestone 42 and Case Histories (BBC), Taggart (ITV), and numerous radio dramas for BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio Scotland, including Macmillan’s Marvellous Motion Machine, The Leaving of Barra, Idle Hands, Sybil Law, Secrets and Lattes, and The Boy Who Ran Away From the Circus.
Scott is also known as one of the voices of BBC Television in the UK.
