Zoé Belcastro
Zoé was born in Paris, raised in Switzerland and later, Vienna. She is fluent in French, English and German, and is proficient in Spanish and Italian. At an early age she discovered a love for comedy which led her to studying at SHOWTIME: V.E.T.’s School of Performing Arts. There, she was a member of the Vivid Voices, performing at the Burgtheater in their production of Macbeth. She later acted in a variety of predominantly French student films, which led to her being cast in a lead role in Money Time, a short film by Festival de Cannes’ 2005 Best Short Winner, Didier Fontan.
While at VETA, Zoé was challenged personally and developed a sense of teamwork, work ethic and ambition, which fed her love for the arts. She has enjoyed interpreting roles such as Medea (Medea) and Arkadina (The Seagull) and is determined to continue to grow as a performer within both the theatre and film industry. After VETA, she will be going to Paris to explore her roots and to dive into the French world of acting.
