Sanja Babic
Born in Salzburg and raised in Vienna, Sanja is fluent in English, Croatian, German and French. Her love for the arts began in high school, where she participated in the Drama Club in plays such as Lumpazivagabundus and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Later, Sanja joined the improvisation group “Aus freien Stücken” while finishing her Bachelor studies in German, Psychology and Philosophy. Before joining the Class of 2024, Sanja completed VETA’s Acting Foundation Programme (AFP), where she enjoyed being on stage in David Ives’ All in the Timing. Her favourite performances while at VETA include Nina in The Seagull and the Tryers and Knights in Murder in the Cathedral and The Little Red Riding Hood.
Besides acting, Sanja has studied violin, sung in various choirs and, in addition to studying dance at PCA (Performing Centre Austria), has completed a Dance Instructor Course at the University of Vienna. Other passions include photography, writing stories and snowboarding.
After receiving her diploma from VETA, she’s looking forward to pursuing a career acting in theatre, film, and television, as well as creating her own projects.
