Marina Kursik

Marina was born and raised in Ukraine. She is fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, and English. At age 6, she discovered a passion for acting and started to explore her talent by becoming a part of a youth group theatre in Kyiv. At age 10, Marina hosted a TV show for children and performed in a number of short movies and TV shows. This further fueled her love for acting, and the decision to pursue it professionally. In 2019, Marina began classical acting studies at the college of Kyiv International University. There she participated in theater productions including The Misanthrope (as Celimene), Doctor Zhivago (as Lara), and Saint Joan (as Joan of Arc). In 2020, Marina was signed by Al Models agency working on campaigns for John Richmond and Dirk Bikkembergs. She also completed a 3-year on-camera training in Actor’s Lab (Ukraine).

During her time at VETA, Marina has enjoyed experimenting with movement and various characters and conceiving and directing her own theatre piece. Looking forward to the future, Marina is committed to continuing her career in acting and directing her own projects.
