Antonia Salzer

Antonia was born and raised in Lower Austria. She speaks fluent German and English. In middle school, she joined her school’s choir program which led to her interest in joining their theatre group. She further discovered a love for performing in the youth group of the Landestheater Niederösterreich, where at the age of 14, she worked primarily on devised projects, including #NICHTEGAL (2019). She began her formal acting training at VETA in 2022.

In 2023, she was invited to join SHOWTIME: VET’s School of Performing Arts Summer Workshop production of Grease, where she played the role of Rizzo. While at VETA, favorite theater projects have included the devised group production of Parasol (created with Stefanie Sommer) and her roles as Nina and Natasha in Working Title: Chekhov. In her free time, Antonia enjoys baking and she is an avid reader.

This summer, she can be seen in a production of Jedermann at the Salzburger Festspiele.

Meanwhile, she is excited to be working with director Brook Hall, musical director Helen Russell and performing with her VETA colleagues at Vienna’s English Theatre.
