Xena grew up in Cairo, Egypt and Vienna, Austria, spending most of her life involved in various forms of performing arts. After moving to Manchester, England, she is delighted to return to Vienna for I And You.
She obtained her professional diploma in acting at Vienna’s English Theatre Academy (VETA), with her most recent credit being the roles of Sully and the Monster in A Monster Calls. She enjoyed directing devised pieces and hopes to continue doing so professionally. Having studied on-camera technique at VETA, she enjoyed acting in the short film Core in 2021.
As a trained singer, Xena had the opportunity to be a part of the Vivid Voices choir, with whom she performed in the Burgtheater’s 2018 production of Macbeth. As a trilingual actress, she has featured in Egyptian television adverts doing voice-overs in Arabic. While living in Egypt, Xena also had the pleasure of performing at the Cairo State Opera.
