Nicolas Altmann

Nicolas was born and raised in Lower Austria. He speaks fluent German and English. He started his VETA journey by joining their Acting Foundation Programme (AFP) in 2019 before being accepted into the full-time course.

Nicolas is currently part of Ingoldstadt at the Burgtheater and Reich des Todes and Zwiegespräch at the Akademietheater, the latter having been invited to the Berliner Theatertreffen.

Nicolas’ first acting experience was as The Fox in The Little Prince. He continued to act in community productions throughout his youth. During his Biochemistry and Genetics studies, he discovered AFP and after completing his degree, decided to pursue an acting career.

During his time at VETA Nicolas has particularly enjoyed playing the roles of Lloyd Fellowes in Noises Off and Titania in Midsummer Night’s Dream. He plays the piano, has sung in multiple choirs and spends his free time as a sailing instructor on lake Neusiedl. He is immensely grateful for the opportunities VETA has given him and looks forward to fully immersing himself in the professional acting world.
