Joanna Brown

Joanna lives in South London, though originally hails from the sunny soils of Suffolk. She juggles her acting career alongside work in musical direction and workshop facilitation; so far, 2023 has seen Jo working alongside various youth academies on productions of The Platform, Seussical and Once on This Island.

Acting credits include: Rapunzel & the Rascal Prince (The Production Exchange), Tiddler & Other Terrific Tales (Freckle), Where Is Peter Rabbit? (Theatre Royal Haymarket and International Tour), The Snow Dragon and Alice in Wonderland (Derby Theatre), Dick Whittington (Theatre Royal Winchester), The Tempest, Henny Penny and Little Red Riding Hood (The Garage), Viper Squad (CtrlAltRepeat), Robin Hood & the Revolting Peasants (Oddsocks), The Scarecrow’s Wedding (Scamp Theatre), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Red Rose Chain), Gatsby (Union Theatre) and Princess & The Pea (Tutti Frutti/York Theatre Royal).

Musical Direction credits include: Red Riding Hood, The Tempest (The Garage) and Ministry of Lesbian Affairs (Soho Theatre).

Jo is a keen runner and enjoys a long cultured wander, so is exceptionally pleased to be spending a few months in beautiful Vienna!
