Beata Varadyova

Beata was born in a small town in Slovakia into a musical family. Her parents taught her to sing and understand music at the age of 4. When she was 6, the family moved to Limerick, Ireland. In 2009 at the age of 7, Beata gave her first concert, singing for the Mayor of Limerick in a multicultural festival at the club Nancy Blake’s. During those early years, she learned to speak English and discovered her love for acting. Her first official role was playing Belle in Beauty & The Beast.
Beata later joined the Drama club and performed the roles of Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz and Emily Cratchit in A Christmas Carol. With the Limerick Youth Theatre, she played Martha in Spring Awakening. She and her family attended the Limerick Workshop for jazz musicians and singers and regularly performed together at Dolan’s Pub. She attended Limerick School of Art and Design before auditioning for VETA. Favorite recent roles include The Attendant in Hecuba and Dotty in Noises Off. She will soon be heard voice acting in the upcoming film Club Zero.
At VETA, Beata especially enjoyed On-Camera Acting, Chekhov and Voice Acting classes. Future plans include focusing on the film industry, voice acting and stage work in England and Hungary.
