Nick directed and co-wrote the award winning Woody Sez – The Life and Music of Woody Guthrie which has played all over the world including London’s West End, Edinburgh, Germany, Israel, China and across the U.S.
His New York productions include: Flight (Callaway Directing Award Nom.), About Face (NYMF Best Director Nom.), Tea in the Afternoon, Tall Grass, Fables in Slang, Tim and Scrooge, Mother Russia (Carnegie Hall), The Overcoat, and Tallboy Walkin’.
Regionally he co-wrote and directed A Young Lady of Fashion (Fulton Opera House) and Eliot Ness… in Cleveland (Denver Theatre Center).

Other directing credits include a variety of plays and musicals at Hartford TheaterWorks, Milwaukee Rep, Cleveland Playhouse, St. Louis Rep, Houston’s Alley Theatre, Adirondack Theater Festival, Lyric Oklahoma (where he also served as Artistic Director), and Vermont’s Commons Group.
His acting credits include: on Broadway; You Can’t Take It With You, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Mary Poppins, A Christmas Carol, and She Loves Me; off-Broadway & regional; Yale Rep, Syracuse Stage, Kennedy Center, Paper Mill Playhouse, Portland Ctr. Stage, etc.; the film Kissing Jessica Stein, as well as numerous recordings, and television.

He has directed over 100 workshops and readings of new works including many for NYU’s Graduate Musical Theater Writing Program.
