After the completion of her Master’s degree, she performed in numerous theater productions, worked with Opera Carolina, and in 2007 was the State winner of the Metropolitan Opera Competition.

She has designed and taught an English-speaking Drama class at Teatro and is currently the head music teacher at the Vienna Elementary School, in Preschool through grade four. In addition, she is completing a certification in the Dalcroze teaching method. She believes strongly in the power of music, as Henry Wadsworth Longfellow said, “Music is the universal language of mankind.” It can teach us about ourselves, show us the culture of others and yet through it we are all connected.
