Andrew has worked extensively as a director and actor. He is delighted to be working with Vienna’s English Theatre again.

His directing credits include: Haunting Julia (Riverside Studios), Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (Trafalgar 2 and Lichfield Garrick), The Entertainer (Lichfield Garrick), In Flame (Yvonne Arnaud and Jermyn Street), The Collector (Almeida), An Evening with Gary Lineker, (Edinburgh and UK Tour), Huis Clos (Belgrade, Coventry), Table Manners (Theatre West). His previous productions for Vienna’s English Theatre include Romeo and Juliet and the touring production of Macbeth.

Andrew’s television appearances include: ‘Marc/Marcia Selby’ in Coronation Street, ‘Richard Morgan’ in Eastenders, ‘Richard Wade-Smith’ in the BBC series Doctors, ‘Andrew Compton’ in Lucy Sullivan Is Getting Married (Carnival Films), Martin Howes in Brookside (Mersey TV), Richard in Hollyoaks (Mersey Television), ‘Russell’ in the classic comedy series Butterflies (BBC), ‘Neil Baxendale’ in Holby City; ‘James Carter-Brandt’ in Dream Team (Hewland International) and Two Point Four Children, Brensham People, William Tell, The Enigma Files, Birds of a Feather.

His theatre appearances include: ‘Bill’ in Mamma Mia , ‘Richard Greatham’ in Hayfever (Sir Peter Hall company, Theatre Royal Windsor (UK Tour); ‘Valmont’ in Les Liaisons Dangereuses (Vienna’s English Theatre); A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Arundel Theatre & RSC); Passion (Chelsea Theatre); the world tour of Gasping; Dead Funny (Watford Palace Theatre); Dark Tales (Arts Theatre); Things We Do For Love (UK Tour); Noises Off (UK Tour); Absurd Person Singular (UK Tour); An Evening with Gary Lineker (UK Tour); Camille, Hamlet, Richard III, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Romeo & Juliet (all for the RSC). ‘Buttons’ in Cinderella and Her Naughty, Naughty Sisters (Lyric Hammersmith) ‘Abanazar’ in Aladdin (Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds); ‘Ratty’ in The Wind in the Willows (Sevenoaks Playhouse); Up in Sweden and Casualty (King’s Head).
