Mark trained at Central School of Speech and Drama. His Theatre credits include Anna at Greenwich; Way Upstream and Time and the Conways at Basingstoke; Soloman and Rough at The Royal Court; Killing Camille at the Old Red Lion; Double Take at Liverpool Playhouse; Jamaica Inn and Man and Superman at Salisbury Playhouse; Hobson’s Choice and Privates on Parade at the Thorndike, Leatherhead; Never the Sinner and All the Way Home at the Belgrade, Coventry; and national tours of The Real Thing, Strippers and An Evening With Gary Lineker. He has previously appeared here in Vienna as ‘David Lord’ in Say Who You Are.

His extensive work for BBC Television includes Judge John Deed, Spooks, Murphy’s Law, Doctors, Manchild, Border Café;, Shades, Dangerfield, The Lakes, Randall and Hopkirk Deceased, The Wild House, Eastenders, Trial by Jury, Down to Earth, Punt and Dennis, Birds of a Feather, The Basil Brush Show, Lovejoy, Boot Street Band, Chips With Everything and Doctor Who. Other television credits include Footballers’ Wives, Life Begins, Reach For the Moon, London’s Burning, The Bill, The Dream Team, Secrets, Melissa, Exchange of Fire, They Came From Somewhere Else, A Wing and a Prayer, Radio Phoenix and Number 73.

Mark’s feature films include Batman Begins, Shiner, The Idiot and Night Swimming.

Mark has recorded many audiobooks and over 9000 radio commercials! As a three time member of the BBC Radio Drama Company, he has performed in around 700 radio plays, including playing ‘Ferdinand’ in The Tempest with Sir John Gielgud, ‘Malcolm’ in Macbeth with Ian Holm, and ‘Benvolio’ in Romeo and Juliet.
