Rodney Ford

Rodney has had a long career in theatre during which time he has been Head of Design at The Citizen’s Theatre, Glasgow; The Crucible Theatre, Sheffield; The South Australian Theatre Co., Adelaide, and The Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch.

He has worked, on a freelance basis, throughout Britain and abroad in Australia, Hong Kong, Canada, Japan and the US – New York and Philadelphia – and, of course, here in Vienna.

Rodney has designed three West End musicals, the longest running of which was Return to the Forbidden Planet.

He lives on the edge of Sheffield with his family and five remaining and retired members of a flock of sheep that he has kept for the past 28 years.
