John trained at
LAMDA. He played the Lost Boy, Nibs in Peter Pan and the Staff Officer in Flight at the National Theatre; Tom in Something Beginning Withx at the Orange Tree; Matt in Better Watch Out at the Hampstead Theatre; Milo in Honolulu and John in Morpheus Descending in the 5065 Lift at the Pleasance Courtyard; Ian in An Evening with Gary Lineker at the Wimbledon Studio; Tranio in Taming of the Shrew and Sebastian in The Tempest at the Tudor Barn Theatre.
He’s appeared in three of Big Finish’s Doctor Who audio plays, playing the Bakoan in Faith Stealer and the Make Up Artist in The Last, with Paul McGann, and Student Barech in Gallifrey: Insurgency.
His first play, Cowboys, was performed at the Royal Court in their year 2000 Young Writers festival. His second, The Golden Fleece won the Essex Playwrights Festival in 2001. He was also asked by the Royal Court to represent the UK at ‘Interplay’, an International Young Writers Festival in Townsville , Australia in 2001 and is currently working on several scripts. Other scripts include Better Watch Out for ‘Start Night’ at the Hampstead Theatre.
