Phil is honored to be working with Vienna’s English Theatre, particularly in such a challenging and exciting play.
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Phil attended the theatre school at DePaul University there. Since that time he has remained actively involved in improvisional theatre. He is a proud and long-standing member of the Neo-Futurists, creators of Chicago’s late night phenomenon
Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind, an ever-changing attempt to perform 30 plays in 60 minutes. For the Neo-Futurists he also directed
Torque and appeared in
dEvolution and Greg Kotis’
Jobie and Katherine. Regionally, Phil has worked with Madison Repertory in
All in the Timing and
The Mystery of Irma vep and with Collaboration as Raymond in
The Joy of Going Somewhere Definite. Phil has appeared in the World premieres of
Lonely Planet (directed by the author Steven Dietz) at Northlight Theatre and
Battle of the Bands for Victory Gardens Theatre.
His television credits include

Off course with Jack Wagner and
ER. Phil can be seen in the films
What Women Want, The Road to Perdition, and the upcoming Robert Altman film
The Company. However, none of this means anything without his beautiful wife Beth and son Joey.
