Phil is honored to be working with Vienna’s English Theatre, particularly in such a challenging and exciting play.

Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Phil attended the theatre school at DePaul University there. Since that time he has remained actively involved in improvisional theatre. He is a proud and long-standing member of the Neo-Futurists, creators of Chicago’s late night phenomenon Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind, an ever-changing attempt to perform 30 plays in 60 minutes. For the Neo-Futurists he also directed Torque and appeared in dEvolution and Greg Kotis’ Jobie and Katherine. Regionally, Phil has worked with Madison Repertory in All in the Timing and The Mystery of Irma vep and with Collaboration as Raymond in The Joy of Going Somewhere Definite. Phil has appeared in the World premieres of Lonely Planet (directed by the author Steven Dietz) at Northlight Theatre and Battle of the Bands for Victory Gardens Theatre.

His television credits include ESPN’s Off course with Jack Wagner and ER. Phil can be seen in the films What Women Want, The Road to Perdition, and the upcoming Robert Altman film The Company. However, none of this means anything without his beautiful wife Beth and son Joey.
