Howard was born and raised in London and trained at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts. Favourite Theatre roles include Jimmy Porter in
Look Back in Anger, Horatio in
Hamlet, Sergio Saranoff in
Arms and the Man, Joe Pit in
Angels in America, Stephen Hawking in the European premiere of
Hawking’s Dream and The Young Man in the world premiere of
Three Tall Women at Vienna’s English Theatre, which was directed by the author, Edward Albee.
Television work includes
The Bill, Casualty, Catherine and
Help, and he played Julius McDoom in the feature film
The Pilgrim Factor which was released last year.
He works extensively as a voice-over for both documentaries and adverts and clients include Channel 4, Channel 5,
ORF,
RTL, Burger King, Rover Cars and Austrian Airlines!
Howard has been playing the role of Frederic’s “alter Ego” in
The Pirates of Penzance at Vienna’s Volksoper which returns once again in the spring of 2003.
Howard lives in Vienna with his wife and two children.
