Robert has worked extensively in theatres all over Britain and toured India as Banquo in Macbeth. Other favourite parts played include: Joe Keller in All My Sons, Tom in Skylight, Serjeant Musgrave in Serjeant Musgrave’s Death (nominated Best Actor in MEN Awards 1987), Goldberg in The Birthday Party, Truscott in Loot, Snell in Donkeys’ Years, Claudius in Hamlet (Best Production MEN Awards 1986), Gordon in Neville’s Island, Eddie in A View From the Bridge, Dogberry in Much Ado About Nothing, Barney in Last of the Red Hot Lovers, Guy Burgess in An Englishman Abroad and Widow Twankey in Aladdin.
