Martyn trained at The Drama Centre, London.

His work has taken him to Oxford Playhouse, Birmingham Rep, Churchill Theatre Bromley, Bristol Old Vic, Cambridge Arts, Liverpool Playhouse, Glasgow Citizens, Theatre Clwyd, Abbey Theatre in Dublin, Northcott Theatre Exeter, Everyman Theatre Cheltenham, Palace Theatre Westcliff, Theatre Royal Windsor, Royal Theatre Northampton and Mill at Sonning.

His many theatre credits include Much Ado About Nothing, Peer Gynt, Chips with Everything, The White Devil, MacBeth, Translations, Pride and Prejudice, Salonika, Wild Oats, The Shaughraun, Absent Friends, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Deathtrap, Same Time Next Year, The Maintenance Man, The Business of Murder, Twelve Angry Men, Romantic Comedy, The Constant Couple, Brief Encounter, I Remember You, Murder by Misadventure, Alphabetical Order, Bedfull of Foreigners, The Odd Couple, California Suite, The Graduate (UK tour), Rebecca (UK tour), Dangerous Obsession (UK tour), Lotty’s War (UK Tour).

His London credits include Venice Preserved at the National Theatre, The Vortex at The Garrick Theatre, Berenice at The Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith, The Millionairess and The Three Sisters at The Greenwich Theatre, The Verge at The Orange Tree Theatre, Richmond, The Castle Spectre at The Croydon Warehouse and The School of Light at The White Bear Theatre.

Television credits include Good and Bad at Games, A Pocketful of Rye, Paradise Postponed, Murrow, A.D., The Day After the Fair, Hedgehog Wedding, Partners Lovers Spies (NBC USA) , The Good Guys, The Bill, Doctor Finlay, McLibel, Doctors and Eastenders.

Martyn has been seen at Vienna’s English Theatre previously in Run For Your Wife, Romantic Comedy, Donkeys’ Years, A Capital Affair, Black Tie and Witness For the Prosecution. Excellent to be back.
