Maggi-Anne trained at Birmingham School of Speech and Drama.
She is thrilled to be given her first opportunity to work at Vienna’s English Theatre, where she is delighted to be reunited with Philip Dart, who has directed her in a number of productions, including Amanda in Coward’s Private Lives and Jan in Ayckbourn’s Bedroom Farce.
Maggi-Anne has worked extensively in theatre and on television. Most notably she has played in seasons at the National Theatre and in the West End, working with directors who include Sir Peter Hall, Sir Alan Ayckbourn, Michael Blakemore and Bill Bryden; as well as in repertory theatres across the UK.
Favourite roles include Mrs Lyons in Blood Brothers’ at The English Theatre Frankfurt, Angela in Arthur Miller’s Two Way Mirror, Andy in Stepping Out, Jane Cooper in Howard Barker’s The Hang of the Gaol and Romaine in Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution.
Most recently she has been directed by Sir Trevor Nunn in Coward’s Relative Values in the West End and created the role of Moira in the online series Simulated People due to be broadcast this Autumn.
