John began his career at a very early age performing as a boy soprano in many of the major Opera Houses in the UK. In fact had his voice not broken he would have gone on to perform with the Vienna State Opera so he is thrilled to be finally performing in this beautiful city – better late than never!

After training at the Royal Northern College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music, John decided to pursue a career in acting and his professional credits include: Sebastian in The Thing About Men (Landor Theatre), My Fair Lady (Royal Albert Hall), Young Fred/Mrs Fezziwig in A Christmas Carol (Creation Theatre), Don Jose in Carmen (Yvonne Arnaud) Anthony in Sweeney Todd (Bolton Octagon), Aladdin (Salisbury Playhouse), Bob in Me and Juliet (Finborough Theatre), Young Soldier in The Secret Garden (West Yorkshire Playhouse), Vindice in Vice (Arcola Theatre), Mr Erlanson, understudy Henrick in A Little Night Music (Menier Chocolate Factory & Garrick Theatre), Raoul in The Phantom of the

Opera (Her Majesty’s Theatre), understudied and played Marius in Les Mis’rables (Queen’s Theatre), Chess & Jesus Christ Superstar (Scandinavian Tour), Brad in It’s Only Make Believe (Upstairs at the Gatehouse).

John’s television credits include: Later with Jools Holland (BBC), Spitting Image (Central), Elton John (Royal Albert Hall) and as Pepicek in Brundibar (BBC). His recordings include: Lead Vocalist in “Perfect Pitch Songbook”, Dublin (Broadway Demo).

Workshops include: Jesus in Woman of Light (Charing Cross Theatre), Anderson in From Here to Eternity, Ted in The Go Between and Oscar in Sex and the Village (both for Perfect Pitch), Lend Me Tenor (Dominion Theatre), Eric in Super Alice Smith (Edinburgh), Phantom in Love Never Dies (Andrew Lloyd Webber), Zeus in Jason and the Argonauts (New Players Theatre).

John was part of both the Les Mis’rables 25th Anniversary concert at the O2 and The Phantom of the Opera 25th Anniversary Concert at the Royal Albert Hall.

John also continues to perform as a soloist in many major concert venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican and The Royal Opera House Covent Garden and recently appeared on the British television series Superstar.
