Jessica Sherman
Diana
Born in Toronto, Canada, Jessica spent most of her summers with her Omi, playing in the shadows of the Wendelstein. So with Edelweiss in her blood, Jessica is thrilled to be performing so close to her second home!
Since leaving Canada for the UK, Jessica has had loads of fun working on new musical theatre pieces, such as playing Marilyn Monroe’s dark alter-ego in
The Marilyn Monroe Show and a deserted wife in
Hooked. She also had the morbid honour of portraying both the deceased Ines de Castro and the heartbroken Mary Shelley in
Unburied Treasures. With the touring gene in her blood, Jessica has also been fortunate enough to travel a lot for her work: Filming
Locked Up Abroad in the Philippines and South Korea, performing in
A Midsummer Night’s Dream in Japan, and most recently, performing as Harley Quinn – the Joker’s other half – in Batman Live, the World Arena Tour. You may have caught it last February in your own Stadthalle.
Trained at Central School of Speech and Drama in acting, and at theUniversity of Western Ontario in classical singing, Jessica is excited to play the scheming Soprano she never was in real life.
