Born and raised in Stratford-upon-Avon, James has been surrounded and inspired by theatre all his life. Since James moved to Austria in 2006 he has built up a successful music career, starting as a busker on Vienna’s Kärntnerstrasse, he has since spent over 100 weeks in the charts. His debut single “Unbreakable” rocketed to number 1 and his follow up single “So Nice” enjoyed a 5 month chart run.

In 2011 James supported Bryan Adams on his “Bare Bones Tour” and played the stages of many of Europe’s largest festivals, including Donauinselfest.

In 2012 James released the “Love is Louder” album with hit producer Doug Petty, who has worked with many of today’s most renowned artists including Rihanna, Britney Spears, Westlife and Enrique Iglesias. This album went straight into Austria’s Top 10.

James trained at RADA on the Acting Shakespeare Course, and his acting credits include What the Butler Saw, Peter Pan, Romeo in Romeo & Juliet and Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing. James is extremely excited to celebrate his theatrical debut at Vienna’s English Theatre.
