Basienka is delighted to be making her first appearance at Vienna’s English Theatre and arrives here directly after spending an enjoyable few months at the Teatro San Gallo, Venice, playing Isabella in the show Venezia.

International appearances include spending a year performing in New York and touring America as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet and the Wife of Bath in The Canterbury Tales. Other international roles include Conchita in an arena tour of Copacabana, Suzanne in Don’t Dress For Dinner at the English Theatre, Frankfurt and a Middle and Far East tour of California Suite, travelling as far afield as Malaysia, Thailand and China!

Back in the UK, West End, national touring and regional credits include two very happy years Dirty Dancing as Vivien, Ursula in Sweet Charity, Maria Elena in Buddy, Sally Bowles in Cabaret, Muriel in Animal Farm, Jacinta in Serious Money, Anna in Old Times, Guinevere in Merlin, Bianca in Othello, Belinda in Noises Off, Adele in Leave Him to Heaven, Cruella DeVil in 101 Dalmatians, Elizabeth Elliot in Persuasion, the Grand High Witch in The Witches, Charlotte in Charlotte’s Web, Bathsheba in Far From the Madding Crowd and Conchita in Copacabana… for the second time!

Basienka’s extensive screen credits include guest starring and featured roles in Frank Stubbs, Lunar Girl, Tickets For the Titanic, Inspector Morse, London’s Burning, King and Castle, Rides, Timebusters, The Knock, Get Real, The Vice, Small Potatoes, A Good Thief, Clocking Off, Second Coming, The Royal, Robin Hood, Doctors, Casuatly and Chopratown.
