Gregory is delighted to be returning to Vienna’s English Theatre after performing here in Ayckbourn’s Taking Steps in 1991. Since then he has had a busy career touring Britain with the National Theatre in Arcadia, the Far East in Only When I Laugh (Derek Nimmo Productions), the UK in The Picture of Dorian Gray (Bill Kenwright), as well as playing Antonio in The Merchant of Venice throughout the USA (Actors From The London Stage). He trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, after graduation from Manchester University.

His West End appearances include Mr Sowerberry in Oliver! and Harris in Little Lies (with Sir John Mills). Other London productions include The Dybbuk (BAC), Commanding Voices (New End), Don Juan (Lyric Hammersmith), The Devils (Union) and The Merry Widow (Bloomsbury). On television he has appeared in Eastenders, Doctors, Grace and Favour, Keeping Up Appearances (all BBC), In Suspicious Circumstances, Picking Up the Pieces, Trial and Retribution, Maigret (all ITV), Get Up Stand Up, Killer Net (Channel4) and Bedlam (History Channel). Gregory has featured in over one hundred commercials, especially in Europe, and was for ten years the chocolatier Mounsieur Meurisse for Suchard in Belgium. On audio, he has recorded the title role in Julius Caesar and Kent in King Lear for Smartpass UK.

He is married to the actress Robin Miller and has three daughters, Georgina, Eleanor and Annabelle. He loves working in Vienna as he is a great fan of Sachertorte, Grüner Veltliner, the music of Bruckner and Mahler, and the paintings of Gustav Klimt.
