Jay is delighted to return to Vienna’s English Theatre where he was last seen playing more than forty characters in the one man comedy
Fully Committed. On Broadway he was seen in
The Play What I Wrote directed by Kenneth Branagh. Off-Broadway he was seen recently in
Our Town (
Barrow Street) as well as
Around the World in 80 Days (Irish Rep),
The Normal Heart (Public),
The Green Heart (
MTC), Novel(
SPF), and
Private Jokes, Public Places among others. National tours include
Beauty & the Beast (Lumière) and
Applause. Regionally, he has performed roles as varied as Abraham Lincoln and Oscar Wilde, and leading roles in new plays, musicals and classics at some of
America’s finest regional theatres.
He recently appeared in the film
Morning Glory directed by Roger Michell and starring Rachel McAdams, Harrison Ford and Diane Keaton. His TV work includes roles on
The Sopranos, Louie, Bored to Death, Ugly Betty, The Unusuals, Law & Order, Law & Order CI, Spin City and many more.
He has narrated numerous audio books as well as teaching Acting in
New York City. Jay recently completed his first full-length play entitled
Cradle & All.
