Scot Woolley

Cosme McMoon

Mr. Woolley is thrilled to be reprising the role of Cosme McMoon in the first European production of Souvenir. His U.S. credits include arranging the dance music for the Broadway productions of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s State Fair and Mitch Leigh’s Ain’t Broadway Grand. Off Broadway he arranged the vocals for Tapestry, a revue of the music of Carole King. Regionally Mr. Woolley has served as music director/conductor for numerous productions at Cincinnati’s Playhouse in the Park, Atlanta’s Alliance Theater, Syracuse Stage, The St. Louis Repertory Theater, The Ensemble Theater of Cincinnati and the Sacramento Music Circus.

Scot has had the honor of composing original music for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, including Bugs Bunny’s 50th Anniversary Float. He has been comedian Martin Short’s pianist, toured with folk singer Holly Near and was accompanist with the Norman Luboff Choir for three years. Most recently Mr. Woolley has been creating theatrical entertainments for the cruise line industry. Royal Caribbean, Norwegian Cruise Line and regent Cruises are among his clients.

Scot has recorded four albums with his violinist brother Stacey. The music represented on these recordings include many works by Erich Wolfgang Korngold and Miklos Rozsa, both well known composers from Hollywood’s Golden Age. These performances of Souvenir mark Mr. Woolley’s premiere at the famed Vienna’s English Theatre.
