Carla began her career as a dancer, and not a very good one! A chance meeting whilst filming a pop video for Phil Collins and Genesis led to her being asked to join The Benny Hill Show, where she worked for five fun years as a Hill’s Angel. Theatre work includes: Noises Off, A Chorus of Disapproval, Cinderella, Dead Funny, The Dying of the Light, Triple Options, Bedside Manners, Alice in Wonderland and Mind your Manners.

Television credits include: Fifteen Storeys High (Ch 4), 999 (BBC), The Bill (ITV), The Y Files (Live TV), Wedding in Paradise (Ch 4), Don’t Wait Up (BBC), Crimewatch (BBC), Alas Smith and Jones (BBC2), Imposter (ITV). She recently finished work on two hour long episodes of a Reality/Undercover TV show for Sky 1 called Million Pound Hoax. Film work includes: Drowning, King Ralph, The Warning, Shortage of Angels and Arachne.

Carla is also a versatile Voice-over and Presenter, and in between acting engagements has a ‘secret life’ as a successful cartoonist working under the noms de plume of ‘Carla Koala’ and ‘Stretch’. This is her first visit to Vienna and she is delighted to be working at Vienna’s English Theatre.
