Anna Truman

Maria trained at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts after reading PPE at Oxford University. Her showcase performance as Dario Fo’s Elizabeth was voted the “Expert Choice” by the Stage.

Her stage credits include Pattie in Brimstone & Treacle at the Bridewell; Cleopatra in Caesar & Cleopatra at the British Museum; Margery in The Country Wife, Delphium in the Haunted House and Thais in The Eunuch, at The Courtyard; Rosaura in Life’s a Dream at the White Bear; Jessica in Crime Passionel at the Burton-Taylor Theatre, Oxford; Marie in Woyzeck at Création Directe, Le Misanthrope at the Théâtre du Centaure and L’Enfant and Sur un Plateau at the Théâtre Ouvert in Luxembourg. She also was assistant director for All For Nothing at the Menier Theatre in London.

Maria’s TV and Film credits include Talk Portuguese (BBC), Double Take, The Bicycle and These Foolish Things.
