David has been working as an actor and director for twenty-five years. Since training at Birmingham Theatre School he has worked in theatres all over Britain. Amongst favourite productions are Hamlet, and Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead at the Belgrade, Coventry, Savage Amusement at Chesterfield and, during several seasons at Chelmsford Civic, The Madness of King George III, Dancing at Lughnasa, Rebecca and Habeus Corpus. As a regular pantomime villain, David has frightened children from Brighton to Kirkcaldy, last year playing Captain Hook in Peter Pan. Many national tours have included productions of Bedroom Farce, An Evening with Gary Lineker, What the Butler Saw, Barefoot in the Park, On Golden Pond and Great Expectations. David also plays Charles Dickens in a one-man show, The Sparkler of Albion.

This year David has directed a national tour of the classic thriller, Rope and played the lead in Deathtrap. A native of Edinburgh, David now lives on England’s south coast in Eastbourne.
