Jack Tripp

Jack Tripp has worked in the Theatre for forty years since training in his native city of Bristol at the Old Vic Theatre School in 1964.

His jobs have included: Master Carpenter at the Duke of York’s, Phoenix and Aldwych Theatres in London; Resident Stage Manager at the Richmond Theatre Surrey; Senior Stage Manager of Sun City Southern Africa; Carpenter and Scene Painter for Oxford Playhouse and Production Manager for Watford Palace, Colchester Mercury, Salisbury Playhouse, Buxton Opera Festival, Theatre Clwyd. Northampton Royal, Manchester Royal Exchange and English National Opera at the London Coliseum.

Jack has designed Cider with Rosie, Turn of the Screw, Dangerous Corner and The Live Bed Show for the Royal Theatre Northampton. He has also designed five TIE/Community tours for the Royal Theatre touring.

Quartet will be Jack’s third production for Vienna, he recently designed Say Who You Are and Move over Mrs Markham.

Recently Jack has designed six lavish revues for Casino Sol Verde in Portugal and is currently designing the three opening productions for the New Queen Mary 2 Liner (The biggest and most luxurious liner ever built!)
