Gerry trained at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. His most recent credits include Outlaw King with Oscar nominated director David Mckenzie for Netflix and Clique for BBC. Recent theatre credits include the tour of The Lions of Lisbon and three new play readings at The Traverse Theatre over the 2017 Edinburgh Festival with writer Nicola McCartney. Other credits include: Still Game (BBC), River City (BBC), and Rebus (STV). Gerry has worked with theatre companies including The Traverse, The Citizens Theatre and The Tron Theatre.

Gerry runs UnSub Actors with his wife Ginger. He has worked several times with director and author Mike Alfreds (“Different Every Night”) on projects ranging from Chekhov’s Three Sisters to Tennessee Williams’ A Streetcar Named Desire.

He lives in Troon with Ginger and his two boys Jude and Benji. Both of whom are definitely his biggest achievement!
