James trained at East 15 Acting School on the MA acting programme.
Recent credits include the critically acclaimed Cornemen at the Pleasance Courtyard in Edinburgh, transferring to London and Brighton, written by Oliver Forsyth, directed by Joe Lichtenstein for Smoke and Oakum Theatre. James has also appeared for Smoke and Oakum in the Amnesty Award nominated Tinderbox.
Further credits include a role as a riot policeman in Caroline Bird’s Trojan Women at the Gate Theatre, directed by Christopher Heydon, Elysium Theatre’s Medieval May Festival directed by Ellie Chadwick. James appeared in both sell out runs of 2.8 Hours Later (Asylum, Survival) in London with Slingshot Effect Ltd.
Screen credits include Magnum Opus directed by Sam Hopper, Return of the Pink Triangle directed by Edward Rieber-Mohn, Blotter directed by Kara Smith, An Saileach directed by Brian Dwyer.
Previous to drama school, James graduated with a BA degree in History from the University of Leicester.
