James is delighted to be working in Vienna once again, having been here previously with Around the World in Eighty Days, Blithe Spirit and Charley’s Aunt. He is looking forward to seeing the city without snow as he has only ever been here in the winter time!

He trained at The London Centre for Theatre Studies and has worked extensively in theatre not only in the UK and Austria but also in Norway, Belgium, Holland and Sri Lanka. His recent work includes a national tour of Cadfael and Classic Ghosts, both for Middle Ground Theatre.

His Shakespearean roles have included: Verges in Much Ado About Nothing, Banquo in Macbeth, Duke Vincentio in Measure for Measure, The Duke in Two Gentlemen of Verona, Grumio in Taming of the Shrew, Bollingbroke in Richard II and Trinculo in The Tempest.

His TV work includes: Coronation Street, Casualty, Hetty Wainthrop Investigates, The Lakes, Big Meg Little Meg, Love Lies Bleeding and Weekend Stories.
