Having played the roles of Claudio and Don Pedro in previous productions of Much Ado, Alan is delighted to be finally playing Benedick.

An experienced classical actor, other roles include Malvolio in Twelfth Night, Orlando in As You Like It, Demetrius in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Antipholous of Ephesus in Comedy of Errors, Lucius in Titus Andronicus, Bosola in The Duchess of Malfi, Giovanni in ‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore and the title roles in Hamlet, Macbeth, Richard II and Don Juan for various companies in the UK. Alan is a regular performer with the international touring company TNT and has been lucky enough to travel all over the world, playing the roles of Macduff in Macbeth, Fagin in Oliver Twist and Petruchio in Taming of the Shrew. Other roles include Jack in Charley’s Aunt, Tom in Round and Round the Garden, Andy in The Star Spangled Girl and Billy Bishop in the one man musical Billy Bishop Goes to War all for Frinton Summer Theatre.
