Mark trained at Central. His comedy theatre credits include: Fletcher in
Porridge (The Lowry), Bertorelli in
‘Allo ‘Allo (Theatre Royal Windsor), Phil in
Up ‘n’ Under (Chesterfield Pomegranate), Bottom in
A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Oxford Shakespeare Company), Head of the Army in
The BFG (Dukes Lancaster) and Uncle Mamaji in the world premiere of
Life of Pi (Bradford Alhambra).
Musical theatre credits include: Hospital Ghost in
Ghost – The Musical (original cast, directed by Matthew Warchus), Jake Blues in
The Blues Brothers (West End), Wild Thing in
Carnaby Street (Hackney Empire/UK tour, directed by Bob Tomson), Haig in
Oh! What a Lovely War (National tour), Larry Bronx in
Bugle Boy -The Glenn Miller Musical (No.1 tour) and Richie Valens in
Heaven Can Wait (Perth Rep).
A regular on the pantomime circuit, Mark has played everything from Dame in
Aladdin and Prince in
Sleeping Beauty (Theatre by the Lake, Keswick), to the comic Buttons in
Cinderella (The Lowry) and the villain King Rat in
Dick Whittington (Qdos). He also directs panto for
ATG.
Classical roles include: Victor in
Yerma (Cambridge Arts Theatre), Feste in
Twelfth Night (Open-air, London), Dimitri in
Dangerous Lady (Theatre Royal Stratford East) and the title role in
Macbeth (UK tour).
TV appearances include:

In his spare time Mark is a keen guitarist, gardener and artist. He is delighted to be making his debut in Vienna.
